What does it take to find a cache? Could be your eyes... Your nose... Could be your hands... Could be that mystical force called “Geosense!” (Yeah, we’ll explain that too...!)

Whatever it takes, here’s some topics on “How to find a geocache:”

  1. 1.Look for it! (Sounds obvious, but these are some things to look for when searching for a geocache.)

  2. 2.Look at the obvious spots. Rule them out first.

  3. 3.Think like a geocacher. Where would you hide it?

  4. 4.Camouflage. Yeah, cachers can be very crafty when hiding their caches!

  5. 5.Signs of previous cachers. What did they find?

  6. 6.TOTT. (Tools of the Trade) Need a magnet? Mirror? Tweezers?

  7. 7.That don’t belong!!! What is sticking out like it doesn’t belong there? Well, it could be the cache! Try it, test it. Does it move?
